Restoration, Digitisation and Enlargement of Old, Faded and Damaged Photographs, Family Collections, Documents and Transparencies

By using a high definition scanner and State-of-the-Art software, most images can be restored to their original state and enlarged many times retaining and often improving upon the original quality.

Originals may include photographic prints which need copying, enlarging or repairing, historical documents or 35mm transparencies. Images may be supplied on line, preferably high definition.

This was a challenge!

"Hello Colin , I picked up the prints today,  just wanted to let you know that they are awesome ! You’ve done a great job with these I’m giving one to Dad for Father’s Day"
Chas

This just received from a customer - sadly due to copyright reasons we cannot show the end results.
"A chance meeting at a local market brought us into contact with Colin Lunt. He was surrounded by samples of his superb photography and several samples of his outstanding photo restoration work.
I produced a very average copy of an aviation themed photo and asked “what can you do for this”?  A very polite reply came back “leave it with me”
Within days, the results of his diligence and skill produced some amazing proofs and fantastic suggestions to enhance the original photo, these concepts were well beyond my initial expectations.
The finished restoration was completed (plus all the extras I piled on to the initial brief) within an extremely short time frame.
Colin’s work is that of a consummate professional, I enjoyed the experience and what’s more important, I am overjoyed with the outstanding results he produced on my behalf."
Chris.

From an original postcard (90mm x 140mm), sent from the trenches in 1915, the image has been repaired, digitally enhanced and enlarged to an A3 size print measuring 420mm x 297mm

The final print has now been framed and is available for sale which includes the story behind the card and a copy of the message.

My Mother was May Queen at her school in Dulwich in 1932. It is the only picture of her as May Queen which is faded, badly damaged
and very fragile. After some careful work it was possible to digitally repair and restore it.
